Blue Ridge Parkway - North Carolina (Southern End)

We depart from Fancy Gap, VA, just north of the NC border, and work our way south for approximately 260 miles to Cherokee, North Carolina. Along the way we ride the high country of North Carolina, including a side trip up Mount Mitchell - the highest mountain in the USA east of the Mississippi River.  What's this ride like? Think tunnels, lots of curves, mountain vistas, and the best scenery North Carolina has to offer! I've been to a lot of places, and I've been here more than once, but  this ride is tops on my list of places I want to visit again!
